WV Wins State's Highest Honor

West Valley High School has won the prestigious 2016 Washington Achievement Award. The criteria used is the Washington State Achievement Index and is based on statewide assessment data for the three previous years. The index measures school performance, emphasizing improvement and recognition.  
 
The award was only given to 280 schools in the entire state. WV won for Overall Excellence and Extended Graduation Rate. You can learn more about this tremendous achievement on the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction website by following this link.
