The younger students were mentored by DECA and Culinary Arts high school students. During the two hours at the high school they learned about starting a Lemonade Stand, making a variety of lemonade and budgeting. Each table had supplies in a Numerica bag including some special ingredients. At this event and helping us move forward, New Hope Bible Church is providing mentors and volunteers to build sustainability in the community. DECA and WV Culinary Delights Catering will be working with the Ness Elementary students in May with stands set up during our annual Block Party. Any student is able to participate in the Spokane Valley Lemonade Day by registering here
