WV DECA Students Attend Hospitality Industry Boot Camp

West Valley High School DECA students prepared for Career Development Competitive Events by attending a Hospitality Industry Boot Camp. Executives from the Davenport Hotels, Double Tree Inn, Spokane Convention Center, Ruby Hospitality Hotels, and Visit Spokane were on hand to speak with students about industry marketing trends, branding, misperceptions, partnerships, promoting Spokane, job opportunities and advancement, resumes and job acquisition tips. Students also had the opportunity to take back-of-house tours and participate in a Q & A session.
