New at West Valley HS:
We are starting an internet cafe to support students with limited/no internet connectivity during virtual learning. With limited capacity, social distancing, and masks required, students are able to come to WVHS and use our internet to email their teachers, attend class, and complete work. Students are expected to attend virtual Real-Time Teaching sessions during the time they are here & complete work for all classes.
WHEN: Mon-Fri, 8:30a-11:30a OR 12:30p-2:30p
*students can only attend ONE session per day (limited to 20 students per time slot)
Reservations open the Saturday before the week. Students can reserve up to one week in advance.
HOW:
Book on Skyward Family Access through the conferences tab or call the main office to reserve your spot.
Students must have their own transportation to and from the internet cafe. Students will enter through the main entrance, check in, then go to the gym to work.
Please note that this is a supervised workspace, but it does not provide teacher instruction or support. If students are in need of support, they need to reach out through phone or email to set up a time with their teacher.
