"A HUGE congratulations to our two Drum Majors… Tara Fetters (Senior) and Jake Koestner (Junior) for earning the prestigious Best Drum Major Award at last weekend’s Apple Blossom Festival Parade in Wenatchee.
They competed against Drum Majors representing all WIAA school classifications (18 total Marching Bands) and received the highest score. As many of you will agree, these are two exemplary students in our high school and are well-deserving of this award. Give them a big congratulations when you see them in the hallway/classroom for a job well done.
As you can imagine, this is one proud Band Director!!! Thanks for your great support… see you at the Lilac Parade in two weeks on Saturday, May 19, in downtown Spokane. The parade begins at 7:45 PM."
