West Valley High School’s DECA Chapter was successful in raising money for Second Harvest’s “Tackle Hunger” fundraiser. “Tackle Hunger” is a contest that high schools can participate in to raise money for Second Harvest, the contest takes place in the fall to prepare for the holidays. Our DECA chapter collected $3,200 dollars, this was not only over the goal of $3,000, but also will provide about 16,000 meals for those in need in our community. The students worked hard to fundraise money by collecting in the community, and at their DECA store. In West Valley School District, students, parents, staff, community members and business partners donated to achieve this goal. West Valley’s DECA Chapter
