Giovanni placed 32nd out of 221 finishers in the Championship race, and was the #3 finisher from the Spokane contingent, sponsored by the Bloomsday Road Runners Club, which included 15 of the top runners from the greater Spokane area. Gio ran the tough 5k course in 16:16, a fantastic time reflecting his hard work and dedication to training.
